These pills work very well, they are certainly the most potent sleeping pills I’ve ever tried! Great price, works wonderfully!
We ordered this because our two dogs have allergies and each needed 50 Mg of diphenhydramine twice a day. I couldn’t see how we could afford to keep the dogs!! I was thrilled to find this product on Amazon. It works great for them and I’ve started using it myself. I did feel that the shipping took longer than most of the items I order from Amazon, so I’ll be sure to order replacements early.
We use this medication for our dog, it is so much easier to buy the 50 mg capsules so we only have one pill to deal with since she has to take so many others.

A very safe and versatile antihistamine with many uses, I can remember when it was prescription only; this is a wonder drug for those that have bad reactions to certain anit-emitics, antipsychotics and other medications as diphenhydramine can stop extrapyramidal symptoms from becoming a permanent disabling disease … sadly it occurs too frequently & a few pennies worth of medication can prevent a permanent disability.
The retail price of Benadryl and the number of people that pay their inflated asking price especially when blended with Tylenol or Advil is astounding.
At Wal-Mart they have their Complete Allergy Medication 100 capsules about $4.98.
I rarely use this anymore but too much makes most people nervous & the correct amount helps sleep and allergies and even certain drug allergies in the ER … 75mg at night was just right for me … 100mg and I was nervous.
If you use these for long periods you will usually have rebound sinus drip and insomnia for a few weeks but it really is not bad and over quickly.
Surprisingly there are new prescription products; Dytan grape chewable tablets $76.55 for 60 tablets at an online pharmacy … wonder why healthcare is so expensive … I cannot imagine how they can charge this but it is a cheaper price than what paid and yes a grape chewable tablet was prescribed to a 50 year old … why?
It is often best to look-up any new prescriptions before visiting a drug store and getting ripped.
The only real downside is the interruption of REM sleep but any sleep is better than no sleep and for allergies during the active part of the day sleepiness is not usually a problem after a few doses.
